climate:

The South West has a mild Mediterranean-style climate and is a perfect destination for year-round travel. The region experiences warm summers, mild spring and autumn, and cool and wet winters.

Summer (Dec to Feb) with temperatures averaging around 25-30c and clear blue skies. This is the perfect time to hit the beaches, swim in the ocean or explore the region's national parks.

autumn (mar to may), is characterized by mild temperatures and beautiful colors. The days are still warm, but the nights can be cool, making it the ideal time for outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.

winter (jun to aug), is cool and wet with temperatures averaging around 15-20c This is the perfect time to explore the region's forests, caves, and beaches and to indulge in the delicious food and wine.

spring (sep to nov), is mild and pleasant with temperatures averaging around 20-25c. The perfect time to enjoy the region's wildflowers and to see the region's native animals and birds.
